How to make the most of your V&A Membership

Looking to buy V&A Membership for yourself or as a gift? Buy Membership.

There is so much to see in our exhibitions. As a Member, you get free unlimited visits to exhibitions even if tickets have sold out. You don't need to book – show either your physical or digital Membership card for entry.

Last admission to exhibitions is 16.15 at Young V&A and 17.00 (21.00 on Fridays) at V&A South Kensington.

At Members' morning views you can visit exhibitions before the museum opens to the public.

We also have a range of workshops, specialist tours, curator talks and more, all for Members only.

You will need to book a ticket for most events, both online and at the museums. Members' morning views need to be booked in advance as these take place before the museum opens. For Members' Previews, booking is recommended but not essential.

Book your tickets online via the relevant event page. You will need to create a V&A Shop account using the email address associated with your Membership.

Members receive priority booking for a range of events both online and in the museums, including talks with leading figures from the creative world, and for V&A Academy courses.

Keep up to date on events, priority booking, news and exclusive content for Members with our Membership Monday emails. And remember, you get a free subscription to the V&A Magazine too.

Make sure you visit our exclusive Member's Room at the heart of V&A South Kensington. Relax with a cup of tea, lunch from our all-day menu or enjoy a refreshing cocktail.

There's no need to book – simply show your Membership card.

You are welcome to bring as many guests as your Membership level allows. All Members can bring up to four children (aged under 16) in with them.

To enjoy discounts in our online shop, create a V&A Shop account using the email address associated with your Membership. Your discount will be applied to the basket at the checkout.
