The Members' Restaurant
Formerly a study room between 1916 – 21, the innovative design by Carmody Groarke subtly combines heritage, modernity and design ingenuity. The furniture also provides a link to the 20th-century collections, including a recommissioning of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto's stackable 403 armchair from the early 1930s.
The centrepiece of the Members' Restaurant is a monolithic terrazzo bar, which includes prosecco on tap, a range of bottled beers, wine, and bespoke cocktails inspired by the V&A's exhibition programme.
The hospitality includes a dedicated lunch menu with device-free dining between 11.30 - 15.30, as well as a range of dietary options including vegan and gluten-free dishes.

The Members' Restaurant is located between levels 3 and 4 near the Exhibition Road entrance. Access is by the stairs or directly by lift (select M).

The Members' Lounge
Open from 11.00 to 16.00, the Members’ Lounge is a relaxing place to unwind before an exhibition. Enjoy hand-crafted coffees and other hot beverages, cakes, pastries and savoury snacks, all cooked on site by our own pâtissière.

The Members' Lounge is located on level 3. Entrance is through Gallery 131 Glass. Access is by the stairs or directly by lift.
Booking
There's no need to book for either room – simply show your Membership card.
