Community collaboration projects
We've been working with local east London communities to help shape how the objects in the museum are displayed, and what stories we tell about them. Through creative workshops and oral history programmes, you can have your voice heard and respond creatively to objects and exhibitions in the museum. We always feature opportunities to collaborate on our blog, V&A East Instagram, and our email newsletters.
We are currently looking for participants to join a series of dynamic dance workshops with Kathak specialist and choreographer Shyam Dattani. The workshops – taking place in February and March 2025 – will explore the history of the Agra Colonnade and result in a documentary film to be displayed in V&A East Storehouse.
