Thomas J Price at the V&A
Join artist Rayvenn Shaleigha D'Clark, who makes life-like sculptures using life casting and 3D technology, for a hands-on workshop exploring sculpting the human form and face. Get inspired by Rayvenn’s work to explore how detailed human-like sculptures are created. Experiment with familiar and unfamiliar materials to help you understand the basics of 3D printing. Through this workshop, you will find out more about new techniques that are used to create work about identity.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet a professional artist and come away with your own sculpture to take home with you. Your feedback on the day will also help Rayvenn with research to create new public artworks!
Workshops are 90 mins long and start at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00. The 10:30 workshop is recommended for ages 5-7; 13:00 is recommended for ages 8-10 and 15:00 is recommended for 11-13.
Tickets are £12 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book a free ticket for each accompanying adult. Please note that adults will be able to attend only if they've booked a child ticket too.

This event is part of the Summer of Sculpture. The Summer of Sculpture is a series of programmes and events celebrating the Thomas J. Price Display coming to the V&A and the range of identities that exist within the collection. Across August, families are invited to explore how artists create sculptures inspired by the human form and to how we can explore identity through art, design, and performance.
