This online course offers an introduction to the care and preservation of jewellery. Combining theory and case studies, the session is designed for conservation professionals, collectors and jewellery enthusiasts alike. Topics this course will cover include:

• An introduction to cleaning methods, including recommended remedial treatments, conservation ethics and preventative care

Katrina is the V&A’s Senior Conservator of Metalwork, overseeing the conservation and care of all metalwork objects in the museum, including objects featured in Cartier and other blockbuster exhibitions.
