Join us on a beautiful journey through over 800 years of jewellery design. Written by celebrated international jewellery historian Dr. Beatriz Chadour-Sampson and featuring some of the V&A's outstanding jewellery curators, this on-demand course brings together twelve hours of meticulously researched and lovingly presented lectures.

We draw on the V&A's magnificent collections to explore topics from the devotional jewels of Medieval Europe, the splendour of the Renaissance and Baroque Courts to new movements such as the Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts and Art Deco, right up to contemporary artist jewellery, and Beyoncé's famous 'Papillon' ring by Glenn Spiro.

This on-demand course gives you maximum flexibility: all 12 hours of lectures will be available to you the moment you are enrolled, so you can learn at your own pace. You can download handouts accompanying every lecture, as well as additional reading to deepen your understanding. And you'll have access to everything till 5pm BST on 3rd July 2024, so there's plenty of time to dig in. What is more, you will also have the opportunity to join Dr Beatriz Chadour-Sampson for a live Q&A session at a convenient time for you during the course, so you can get answers to all those burning questions.

Book now and you'll get access to the course at 10am BST on April 10th 2024. You will then have full access to the learning environment until 5pm BST on 3rd July 2024.
