Join artist and designer Silvia Ospina to explore the endless possibilities of digital design in textiles and create your own scarf inspired by the V&A Fashion Collection. Following a step-by-step guide you will learn the fundamentals of creating patterns by combining traditional hand-painted techniques with digital tools. This workshop is suitable for all levels and attendance is limited to 16 attendees. All materials provided. Attendees must be 18+. Please note the workshop timings are 10.30 to 17.00.

Workshop summary: You will start by sketching your motifs with pens and markers and then Silvia will guide you to turn your motifs into a seamless repeating pattern using a simple tool on our iPads. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have designed your unique digital pattern, which will be printed on a scarf and delivered to you, for you to keep as a memento of your workshop.
