Take this self-led trail and discover hidden treasures in the British Galleries. Explore Shakespeare’s magical world and find ‘a little western flower’, a precious jewel, mermaids and even a hammerhead shark! Follow the QR code and map in the back of your programme to travel through time. 

Along the way, enjoy a screening of Dash Arts’ epic production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Combining the original English text with translations in six Indian languages, Shakespeare’s magical tale is enlivened through music, acrobatics, traditional dance and contemporary movement. This production was recorded live by the V&A at the Roundhouse in April 2007. 

The screening will happen at 13:00 every day in the cinema room (British Galleries, Level 1, Room 56). It is 2 hours and 15 minutes, without an interval.
