Connecting Threads: Fashioning Madras in India and the Caribbean

Join us for this public event exploring the history and culture of Madras textiles in India and the Caribbean. This symposium will launch the Connecting Threads website, which offers exciting new research and resources for collaborative study of Madras textile histories in India and the Caribbean. 

The symposium programme includes an international line-up of leading fashion and textile historians, designers, and practitioners who will share their work through papers, object studies, demonstrations, and panel discussions. Programme to be published shortly.
