Food fermentation gained a momentum in the past year of social isolation. This project reflects on the paradox of bacteria in our lives and the growing research into bacteria as a potential resource for plastic recycling. On display is a video-essay and Sofa-Bread – part of a line of furniture that explores intimacy in food-making.
