Make-Lab Workshop: Paper Theatre with Aya Nakamura

Join puppeteer and theatre maker Aya Nakamura to create your own paper theatre box inspired by Kamishibai theatre and storytelling. In this two-hour workshop you will be introduced to Japanese folktales inspired by Japan: Myths to Manga exhibition, and experience a traditional Kamishibai performance. As a family you will create your own story with an illustrated back drop enriched by collaging and layering techniques.

This workshop is part of the Make-Lab series which offers opportunities for adults and children to work with professional artists, learning new creative skills together.
There are two workshop times to choose from: 10.30-12.30 and 14.00-16.00. Please arrive 10 minutes before your start time.
You must book a ticket for all adults and children attending.
