Prince Albert was born 200 years ago this year. Since the nineteenth century, there has never been a biography based on all the archival material at Windsor, Coburg, and Gotha. Join A.N. Wilson, who wrote 'Victoria' some years ago, and who has been through all the documents, to discover a portrait of Albert the husband, Albert the politician, Albert the reformer, Albert the patron of art and industry – the best German import this country ever made.
