Join Thoth, God of Wisdom on an adventure through ancient Egypt to find his all powerful book! Sneak into the Pharoah's Palace, escape into Osiris' underworld and sail along the infamous Nile. Using drama, movement and costume, this storymaking workshop will help pupils learn more about what makes a compelling story. Using links to the curriculum this interactive workshop with puzzles, games and performance will encourage team work, problem solving and creative expression as they experience a slice of ancient Egyptian fun!

As part of of your workshop ticket your class will have self-guided group entry to the Making Egypt exhibition between 10.30-11.30. Your workshop will then run for 45min in The Stage, Imagine Gallery between 11.45-12.30.
Each booking (exhibition entry + workshop) can accommodate 1 class (maximum 30 students).
We have multiple dates to choose from. You’re also welcome to explore the museum on a self-guided visit before or after your workshop and you will receive ideas and suggestions to support further learning on gallery.
As part of your booking, we will reserve a 30-minute lunch slot (12.30-13.00) in our Portal Trust Community Room for your group. You will receive an automated booking confirmation. If the information received is incorrect, please contact young@vam.ac.uk.
