Drop-in Design: Crafting with Nature.
Art Studio, Learning Centre
What is your safe space? How can you bring the feeling of your safe space with you?
Drop into a mindful session inspired by the natural world led by artist, Tyreis Holder. Tyreis will guide you as a family to explore your creativity and inner worlds. Families will make a plush toy to take away experimenting with colour, texture and shape.
Sessions are every 40 minutes from 11.00 – 13.00 and starting again at 13.40 – 15.00. The last session will start at 15.00. Please book your place for one of the sessions at the entrance of the Art Studio. Recommended age 5+.
Pop-up Performance: Movements from Nature.
Raphael Gallery, Room 48a
Join dance artist Kirsty Purnell for a playful workshop inspired by the natural world. As we look at the world around us, in the museum and beyond, what shapes and lines do we see? What if these shapes and lines could make us dance? How can movement make us draw?
As a family create drawings, get inspired by nature and colours then use them to create movements and dances that explore your inner worlds.
Together we will create individual drawings and dances that will become one collective drawing to dance to.
Sessions of 40 minutes starting at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Drop-in. Recommended age 4+. Pick up an activity sheet, between sessions, for another chance for your family to explore nature and dance together.
Design Baby: Natural Worlds.

11.00 – 16.00. Drop-in. Recommended age 0-3.
