Introduction to Tailoring: Make Your Own Ankara Waistcoat (18-26 years)

Join us for a 1-day workshop inspired by the Africa Fashion exhibition with experienced designer and tailor Lorraine Mitchell.

The workshop will cover the basics of tailoring including hand stitching, how to use sewing machines, Ankara construction, handling fabrics and includes entry to the Africa Fashion Exhibition during the first hour of the workshop.

This will be a great opportunity to gain practical skills and make your own garment to take home.
