Embellishing Alice

Using a printed fabric, you will learn how to use linear and filling stitches to embellish Alice’s dress and playing cards with Royal School of Needlework tutor Zinaida Kazban. These stitches are perfect for small motifs, and Zinaida will show you how to work with beads, sequins and three different types of embroidery thread to fill them. Stitched on navy blue crepe fabric, the design uses embroidery to create a sense of movement, as if you are falling into the rabbit hole with Alice.
