Using the customisable pattern, developed for the Fashioning Masculinities exhibition, tutors Alice & Lilia from Alice & Co. will take you through all the steps needed to create your own unique shirt. Over two days, you will learn how to take measurements, cut out and make fit adjustments before all the sewing techniques you need to sew a fine shirt including plackets, collars, yokes and sleeves.
Suitable for advanced beginners - no prior shirt knowledge required but you'll need to know your way around a sewing machine and have sewn a garment before for this one! We'll provide all materials, however, you would be welcome to bring your own if you have a particular fabric in mind. Suitable for 18+ only.
