Onsite Talk: French Silver - Discoveries from Le Louvre and Versailles

On the occasion of the publication of her catalogue, Michèle Bimbenet-Privat, curator of silver and decorative arts at the Louvre, will be presenting highlights from one of the most renowned collections of precious metalwork in the world. She will be accompanied by Paul Micio, independent art historian, who will speak about ‘The Ghosts of Versailles’, the first publication ever to deal with the silversmiths who worked in the town under the Ancien Régime.
