Six generations of the Rothschild family established themselves in London as renowned collectors. They created prodigy country houses in the Vale of Aylesbury along with London mansions in Mayfair. Jacques Schuhmacher (Gilbert Provenance Researcher) will join Tessa Murdoch, Acting Keeper, Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics and Glass in introducing masterpieces from the Rothschild family collections displayed in the V&A’s Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Galleries.
