Gilded Bodies

Gilded Bodies explores the potentials of digital media to ornament and augment the body via a projected digital mirror. Taking inspiration from video games and anime the piece layers magical, digital forms onto the viewer presenting them with a newly gilded, reflected version of themselves. The digital elements swirl and sparkle, pushing beyond the limitations of physical ornament and discovering new possibilities for adorning our virtual selves.
