Guided by textile artist Christine Leech, stitch and embellish your own bejewelled scarab beetle while enjoying a specially curated cocktail, both inspired by Making Egypt.
Using beautiful 100% wool felt, gold leaf and a mix of vintage and reclaimed beads and sequins, Christine will teach you simple beading techniques and guide you through the steps of making a 3D scarab ornament. Once finished you can wear your beetle as a brooch or display it as a piece of miniature wall art.
No prior experience is necessary and all materials will be provided.
