How would you dress a character described by author Philip Pullman as “a cesspit of moral filth”? Caroline McCall and Ruth Wilson discuss the process of designing and creating costumes for Mrs Coulter from the first scene stealing entrance in season 1 of His Dark Materials, based on Pullman's books, to her final fate three seasons later.
