Japan: Myths to Manga

Come and join to create your own folded paper Yokai Dragon (or another creature!) from your imagination! In this workshop, artist Toshiko Kurata will show you some interesting origami techniques to make movable, changeable shapes with paper. You will then have a go at one of the techniques to create a Yokai - just with pieces of paper, no scissors or glue!

Booking information:
• This is a family workshop, where adults are required to participate along their children.
• We recommend the ratio to be at least one adult per three children. We are not able to accommodate more than one adult per child.
• This workshop is recommended for children aged 4+. We regret that we cannot allow younger siblings without tickets in the workshop room.
• Please let the V&A know if you have specific access requirements.
• If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly let the V&A know so we can release your places. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer refunds in exceptional circumstances.
• If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
