This walking tour is linked to the V&A Academy course 'Birth of a Global City: London 1066 - 1666' with Mike Berlin. The tour will take you through the back streets and purlieus of the City of London, exploring the remaining fragments of the ancient capital and topography of the great events and key social and economic trends of the medieval and early modern city. Amid the soaring towers of the 21st century, we shall search out the vestiges of ancient moments in London’s history, from its roots in late antiquity to the era of the great fire.
This event will take place offsite and a maximum of two tickets can be booked.
Priority is given to attendees of the V&A Academy London courses.
