Digital Art: 1960s – Now engages with contemporary discourses on art, artificial intelligence, computer animation, simulation and cybernetics through the historic works of innovative artists and renowned contemporary practitioners. Join us for an introduction to the subject of digital art over its more than sixty-year history illustrated by works from the V&A's collection. Discover how the artform has grown from niche experimentation to a globally recognised creative practice.

The talk is being held in conjunction with the launch of a new book, Digital Art: 1960s–Now (Thames & Hudson) and is part of the V&A’s inaugural Digital Art Season which runs until 30 November 2024 addressing questions of technology, creativity and digital culture.
