September 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the Theatres Act (1968), which abolished state-censorship of the stage throughout the UK. Join Senior Curator Simon Sladen as he introduces the V&A’s Censored! Stage, Screen, Society at 50 display, charting the evolution of censorship from 17th Century to present day.
