V&A Performance Festival 2022
Jody Oberfelder Projects (JOP) and guest dancers will perform an excerpt from the larger work Walking to Present in the John Madejski Garden fountain, titled Splash Dance. Inscribing the pool in the centre of the garden with a dance both reverent and irreverent. Performances will be at 13.00 and 15.00, duration 20 minutes.
Jody Oberfelder is a director, choreographer, and filmmaker. She creates art which aims to illuminate life. Whether stage, film, site or installation, her works expand how one experiences dance. Her works often provide audiences with experiences of intimate engagement and each piece is a conversation with the place. Oberfelder’s performances function as a living organism, inclusive and collective, wherein each participant's experience is woven into their own life's narrative and shared humanity.
