Drop-in Design: Prints and Patterns

Take part in this families workshop with artist Alaa Alsaraji and Khidr Collective to celebrate Ramadan through printmaking! Design and print your own patterns inspired by objects from the V&A’s collection celebrating the Muslim month of fasting, belonging and joy.
This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended. Suitable for ages 5+.
This workshop ends at 6pm, so families can join the start of Open Iftar taking place in the Raphael Court at the V&A.

This event is part of a series celebrating the Ramadan Pavilion 2023, a project by Ramadan Tent Project and the V&A. Events have been developed with Shaheen Kasmani, lead curator of the Ramadan Pavilion.
