This workshop will be a mixture of information gaining and practical work, exploring internships, work experience, course and study options . General tips on creating and outstanding portfolio will be given, and you can bring in your portfolio for 1-2-1 advice.
The day will be led by Jane Francis, who has worked at Vivienne Westwood, lectured at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion and is design practitioner. Designer Ian Kettle will also be speaking on setting up your own fashion label.
No previous experience required, suitable for beginners.
There is only a 30 minute lunch break, so it is advisable to bring a packed lunch.
All attendees will need to complete a copy of the emergency contact form, a copy is sent digitally with your ticket when booking online. Blank forms will also be made available on arrival at the event.
