Enjoy performances from local creatives and join-in with a range of hands-on activities across our galleries and creative studios.  

There will be opportunities to make, build, play and perform throughout the museum. 

Highlights will include 

  • Pop up performances from local creatives including East London Youth Dance Company, New Young Voice Collective and The Majorettes 
  • Stories from Home screenings with the QMUL Language Acquisition Lab, Mile End Community Project, Human Stories Films and Blooming Parenting  
  • Participatory workshops with Fashion Accessory Designer Clara Chu and Political Cartoonist and Puppet Animator Zoom Rockman  
  • A sensory play space for 0-5 year olds with Artist Lucy McDonald 
  • An immersive Forest installation with Designer Nathan Ward 
  • A Partner Takeover of The Stage through film 
  • Live Demonstrations with circular manufacturing company, Batch.Works in The Shed
