In this workshop you will learn different embroidery stitches and create your own floral wall hanging framed in a wooden hoop to take home.
Semira Badesha is a London based digital illustrator and embroidery artist who celebrates South Asian arts and culture through her work. Alongside facilitating embroidery workshops on Mughal arts, Semira creates illustrations that explore her heritage using colour and texture to evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. Her latest embroidery workshop focuses on historical Mughal motifs and together we’ll be creating our own embroidered wall hanging inspired by the theme.
This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced crafters.
