Dinner and a Movie: Iris photo

Inspired by our new exhibition NAOMI: In Fashion, we are honoring renowned New York designer and fashion icon, the late Iris Apfel, in our latest edition of Dinner and a Movie.

Iris (2014) celebrates the quick-witted, flamboyantly dressed designer who had an out-sized presence on the New York fashion scene for decades. The film, directed by Albert Maysles, is a story about creativity, with Iris's soaring free spirit an inspiration in the world of textiles and style.

After the screening, fabric sculptor, designer and artist Daniel Lismore - once named by Vogue as ‘England's Most Eccentric Dresser’ - will join us for a Q&A to explore Iris’s enthusiasm for fashion, art and people.

Following the talk, you'll be treated to a colorful, New York-themed three-course dinner and welcome drink in the Members’ Room.
