In the last concert of the series, critically acclaimed soprano Joan Rodgers CBE will perform works by Schumann and Wolf, accompanied by Simon Phillippo, with poetry read by NOS Director of Artist Development David Sulkin OBE.
National Opera Studio
In partnership with the UK’s six leading opera companies, the National Opera Studio plays a leading role in the development of operatic talent through its world-class training, support and dialogue.
Leading up to its 40th anniversary, the National Opera Studio hosts a Lunchtime Concert Series in conjunction with Opera: Passion, Power and Politics. As the result of a special partnership with the V&A, NOS Young Artists and alumni perform their own specially-curated programmes illuminating the significant operatic stages in this major exhibition.
