Writer and performer Yolanda Mercy invites you to join her in the V&A Photography Centre for an evening of writing, discussion and creativity.
Using the Photography centre as inspiration, you will experiment with different approaches to creative writing and storytelling in a relaxed setting. Any sharing of work created during the session is optional.
This evening salon is suitable for anyone looking to expand their creative practice, or to just have a go and get creative.
Participants are invited to meet in the Art Studio, Learning Centre for tea and coffee before travelling over to the Photography Centre for the workshop.

Yolanda Mercy is an Award Winning British Nigerian Writer and Performer for Screen, Stage and Audio; who works nationally and internationally. She has worked on projects in 8 countries and across 3 continents, which has gained her international recognition for her work.
Named Artist to Watch by the British Council, part of the BFI x BAFTA mentoring scheme under the guidance of Anne Mensah and a winner of the prestigious channel 4 Playwright award, Yolanda is carving out a career across a variety of mediums. Her writing has featured in

Bloomsbury Books for her award winning play Quarter Life Crisis, and with
