Make, question and imagine with our Youth Collective, to help shape the possibilities of what a museum space can do and be for you and your communities.

We invite you to share your ideas of how museums may become more inclusive and responsive to the needs of diverse audiences, particularly for young people.

On the day you'll also have the chance to work with Cuban artist and activist Tania Bruguera, and local based artists José García Oliva, Lucia Barsegian, and ArtVomit Studio, to bring your ideas to life.

From hands-on making to critical discussions, to sharing food and exchanging ideas, whether you're interested in art, activism, or rethinking public spaces, this event is a chance to join the conversation and shape the future.

This event will inform V&A East's Youth Collective’s current work around V&A East Storehouse and the role of museums and their audiences.

Booking is not essential, and we welcome walk-ups to the event. Photography and filming will take place during the day.

This event is brought to you by V&A East and will take place at Bow Arts Nunnery Gallery in east London.

back2back is made possible through support from the Terra Foundation for American Art and co-curated with colleagues, artists, designers and creatives from the Americas and their diasporas in London
