Create! Studio for Families: Shining Celebrations (Dec 2024)

Create! Studio is where all members of the family, children and adults, are invited to get creative together. Explore materials and get inspiration for designing something new, play with each other and make new friends.  

Our December session’s theme is Shining Celebrations. We will take inspiration from the museum’s collection of sparkling objects, from silver glitter boots to gold candelabras, to create our own sparkly art. Work with artist and museum staff Ellie Bird to learn how to print using bubbles, and try the technique of foil drawing.

- Both children and adults need to have tickets for this event. Children must be accompanied by adults during the workshop.
 - This workshop is designed for children aged 4+. Younger siblings between ages 1-4 are welcome but need to buy ticket. Free for babies under 1.
 - Please use our buggy park as we don’t have a space for them in the studio.
 - Our workshops are for everyone. Please let the V&A know if you have specific access requirements.
 - If you are no longer able to attend, please kindly let the V&A know so we can release your places. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer refunds in exceptional circumstances.
 - If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date or offer a refund.
