Upstart Online Schools - Graphic Design Now

Graphic Design is part of our everyday life. We see it everywhere and it can have a real influence on how we live our lives even if we don’t realise it. Join us to hear from people who use creativity, innovation and lateral thinking on a daily basis to communicate visually with a wide range of people. Find out how they sustain their businesses either as an individual or as part of an agency and how they sustain generating creative ideas for a whole range of clients time and time again.

Will Rea, award winning illustrator and muralist, will talk about creating large scale public artworks on outside spaces. He will share an insight into his practice, from ideas on paper, to working at scale and painting on walls. Claire Thornley, from Eleven Design, will talk about how her agency works with individual clients but also brings together and promotes culture in Sheffield via Our Favourite Places.

This online workshop will take place on Zoom and is open to any schools wanting their students to find out more about careers in graphic design.
