Barbara Hulanicki: Biba (Livestream) photo
In 1964 the first Biba shop opened and rapidly came to dominate the London fashion scene. As a place for everyone - from teens to David Bowie - Biba became the fashion destination of the Swinging Sixties and seventies, shaping the outlook of a generation and becoming one of the world's first lifestyle brands.

Join founder Barbara Hulanicki in conversation with author Martin Pel for a look at the history of the fashion brand and its phenomenal success through the memories of Barbara and images of Biba. The talk is being held in conjunction with the launch of a new book, Biba: The Fashion Brand That Defined A Generation (Yale University Press).

This talk will be held on Zoom and all ticketholders will receive a link to view the morning of the event.
