Stomping across centuries and stepping into the V&A museum’s footwear collection, throughout the day they will explore gender, sexuality, power and social status.

Posing questions such as: Are heeled shoes a feminine item? What does masculine mean? What has been the role of heels throughout time? And what is their role now?

UPOs, the acronym of Unidentified Performing Objects, are Luca Bosani’s signature wearable artworks that reject categorisation and sit in between definitions; ever-changing, fluid and queer they aim to transform both the wearer and the viewer.
