Geometric Pattern Cutting: Balenciaga
Inspired by original garments from the current Balenciaga exhibition, designer Juliana Sissons will show you how to design and cut individual patterns from geometric starting points.

This workshop will cover the methodology of shape making. You'll learn to enhance your creativity, create starting points for further development and develop a conceptual approach to pattern cutting.
You'll create unique patterns from Geometric block templates and sculpt them through drape. You'll also practice flat pattern cutting techniques and modelling on the stand. As a result, you'll work towards creating an original design and prototype toile in traditional calico cotton and cream jersey.
All materials included, suitable for beginners.
