With the growing market of events and courses and things to do, museums are competing to engage adult audiences in new and exciting ways not only to diversify adult audiences but also to help provide revenue. This one day course will explore how to run an adult programme by looking at the process from inspiration to budgeting using high-profile V&A talks, festivals and workshops as examples.
Course Leader
Jo Banham
Jo Banham was Head of the Adult Programmes in the Learning Department at the Victoria & Albert Museum from 2006 - 2016. She is currently co-curator of an exhibition on William Morris and the Arts and Crafts Movement organised by the Juan March Fundacion, Madrid and the Museu Nacional de Arte Catalunya, Barcelona.
