Join the curators of the V&A’s Africa Fashion and the Hayward Gallery’s In The Black Fantastic, Dr Christine Checinska and Ekow Eshun, in an exploration of the African imaginarium, or Black fantastic, as the place where creative and cultural liberation resides. The conversation will thread its way around the place of myth and fantasy in the spectacular works of genre-defying contemporary African creatives, from fashion to photography, text to textiles, multi-media and more.
