Join Latin American upcycling community Supra.org for a journey through Argentinian upcycling brand Garcia Bello’s studio and a live workshop session to ‘rebirth’ two old shirts into a poncho through open source deconstruction techniques. You can watch the workshop live at this address: https://youtu.be/9vdFnDDBqxU

The workshop will be presented collaboratively with friends from the Supra community: tHERAPY, Y.A.N.G and 12NA who will also share some upcycling techniques of their own. Supra will also give an exhibition tour of their online gallery showcasing the work and process of designers and makers from their community. This 360° gallery and showroom space showcases the work of seven Latin American upcyclers alongside videos documenting each designer’s process and approach to open-source upcycling.

This exhibition tour, workshop and film screening is part of the Fashion Open Studio x COP26 programme, a series of international digital events in response to the themes of the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP26 created in partnership with the British Council.
