KS3 Secondary workshops: Design Can!
Join us at Young V&A for an inspiring , creative and hands-on 90min design workshop with your KS3 class.
In this fast-paced studio session, students will get hands-on with objects from V&A collections, and respond to a design challenge about designing for peoples' needs and use a range of materials to prototype their ideas in 3D.
Key curriculum links: Design & Technology
This KS3 secondary workshop, led by museum learning facilitators, will engage students with objects and themes in the Young V&A galleries and equip them with key creative skills that support the national curriculum. Each session can accommodate 1 class (suggested 25 students, max 30 students). We have multiple dates (Tuesday to Friday) and timeslots ( 10.45- 12.15 OR 12.45- 14.15 ) to choose from. Each session is 90 min long.
As part of your booking, we will also reserve a 30-minute lunch slot in our Portal Trust Community Room for your group.
