Join us at the V&A for an evening of teacher CPD to discover and explore objects in the collection made by artists and designers from Africa and the global African diaspora

This after-work event for Primary and Secondary teachers offers the chance to see and learn about key works and designers through objects, learn from a contemporary designer-educator, network with other teachers, and collect inspiration for visits to the museum and activities in the classroom.
Teachers will meet a specialist V&A tour guide who will share a selection of objects from the collection, followed by a chance to meet and learn about the work of a contemporary designer, share practice and take part in a creative taster. The event will close with sharing our brand-new Teachers’ Resource and opportunities for teachers and students from V&A staff and partners.
All materials and light refreshments will be included.
