Friday Late: NRG

To mark the opening of the final phase of the V&A’s Photography Centre, this Friday Late celebrates energy in all its forms.

From processes intrinsic to creating a picture - sunlight, the burst of a flash bulb, or electricity - to the subjects in front of a camera; all photographs need some form of energy to exist. Through live performance, film, installation, DJs, and more, this Friday Late will focus its lens on differing forms and forces of energy. Be immersed in the energy of rave culture, moved by the dynamism of protest, and experience the pure freedom of bodies in motion through dance.
