Course overview

Staging the Exhibition...Kimono: Kyoto to Catwalk is a half day course which provides a unique insight into the curatorial and exhibition design process behind the exhibition. Participants will find out how this exhibition, which presents the kimono as a dynamic and constantly evolving icon of fashion, revealing the sartorial, aesthetic and social significance of the garment from the 1660s to the present day, was conceived and staged.

This course includes a ticket to the exhibition.
