In Practice: Representing Skin with Jake Spicer

In this practical drawing workshop, we will look at one of the most overlooked aspects of portraiture: skin. Under the guidance of artist and tutor Jake Spicer you will be guided through drawing exercises that help you to investigate the varied texture of the face, with focused explorations of wrinkles, texture and skin tones. Whether you're just starting out with drawing, or you're an experienced artist looking to improve your portrait drawing, this workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and you will be able to draw along at your own pace using materials of your choice.

This session will be held live on Microsoft Teams and will also be recorded. The recording will be emailed to ticket holders after the live event, and will be accessible for 5 days until midnight on Sunday 14 April 2024.
