Summer Family Fridays: Japan
A series of free creative activities from paper installation to storytelling
Explore the museum with a series of free activities during Fridays in the summer school holiday (26 July - 16 August).
Take on a Family Design Challenge, listen to Stories from Japan in the Stage (13.00, 14.00 & 15.00)*, or visit a paper installation created by artist Nathan Ward in the Portal Trust Community Room, all inspired by the Japan: Myths to Manga exhibition.
* Storytelling sessions have limited availabilities, and will be on a first come first served basis. See below schedule for the Stories from Japan programme.
Friday 26 July: A Tale of a Tub Maker by Tomoko Komura
Friday 2 August: Milky Way by A Thousand Cranes
Friday 9 August: Shining Princess by Kazuko Hohki with musician Clive Bell
Friday 16 August: Stories from Japan by Laura Sampson
