This one day workshop will provide an overview of the financial, curatorial, legal and practical considerations of establishing a residency programme. The course will focus on the practicalities of working with resident artists, from the fundraising stage to the selection process, the production of new work, displays, copyright, contracts and learning/public engagement programmes.

As Residency Programme Manager at the V&A, Laura oversees the residency programme, supporting artists, designers and other creative practitioners who are invited to undertake research, develop public programmes and create work inspired by the museum’s collection.
